The Baby Monitor played a limited three week engagement at The Theater at the 14th Street Y in NYC, December 2018 (344 East 14th Street at 1st Avenue). 

When Claire's concerns over the welfare of her two-year-old cousin are dangerously validated, she begins to question the family’s principals and ability to parent. A crucial new play exploring same-sex parenting and cis family values in today's America.

Anaïs Nin Goes to Hell played a limited three week engagement at The Theater at the 14th Street Y in NYC, October 2016 (344 East 14th Street at 1st Avenue).

Anaïs Nin Goes to Hell is an existential comedy centered around some of the most powerful and memorable women of history (Queen Victoria, Cleopatra, Andromeda, Heloise, Joan of Arc) as they wait on an island in the river Styx for the final leg of their soul’s journey to eternal peace or damnation. Their monotonous afterlife is shaken up when women’s lib icon and erotica writer Anaïs Nin arrives to the island planting seeds of change.

Dark Water
2014 at the Theater at the 14th Street Y

DARK WATER played a limited three week engagement atThe Theater at the 14th Street Y  (344 East 14th Street at 1st Avenue). It garnered the prestigious 2014 NYIT Award for Best Original Full Length Script and was nominated for Best Production.

The swampland of Louisiana is hit with the most massive oil spill known to history. Barnacle, an old sea turtle, fights against man’s destruction, nature’s wrath, and her enemies of the wild to save her children trapped in the spill. Poetry, allegory, music, puppetry and movement create this magical world as the animals of Louisiana face the ultimate threat to their lives.

The effects of the Gulf oil spill among other spills continue to jeopardize our oceans. DARK WATER humanizes the animals affected by the spill giving a voice to the true defenseless victims. The play also deals with other poignant issues such as immigration, religion and politics.

The production starred Susan G. Bob*+, Lily Drexler, Emily Hartford, Erica Lauren McLaughlin, Dianna Martin+, Antonio Minino+, Stephen Conrad Moore*, Kathleen O’Neill*+ , Chester Poon+ and Brian Silliman*. 

The Stranger to Kindness
2012 Frigid Theater NYC Production

D&A Productions in association with GOODE Productions & Fab Marquee Productions are pleased to present  the award-winning return of THE STRANGER TO KINDNESS by David Stallings, directed by Heather Cohn, as part of the 2012 FRIGID New York Festival.  THE STRANGER TO KINDNESS will play 5 performances from February 23rd through March 3rd, 2012 at the Kraine Theatre (85 East 4th St).

Years of routine bind Lena and Nance, two lonely senior women from the Upper West Side. When Nance no longer answers her door, Lena takes it on herself to call the police and her friend’s family. What arrives is a strange dose of animosity and generousness from unlikely places.

Reprising their roles are Susan G. Bob* (Broadway: No Place to be Somebody [Pulitzer Prize Winner]) and Antonio Miniño. Joining the cast is Mick Hilgers*.

Barrier Island tackles the nature of a fearless community that chooses to stake their lives on the strength of the historic Galveston seawall -- built to protect the island from natural disasters -- as they await the arrival of one of the most devastating hurricanes to hit the United States since Katrina, Hurricane Ike. Nominated for the 2009 Weissberger Award (Williamstown Theatre Festival), Barrier Island is the first play in "The Galveston Cycle."

Zeb's new roommate, Gerry confides that she has a secret - a passionate affair with rock sensation Tobin Grey. Zeb's relationship with illegal alien Rodrigo must also remain a secret as no laws would protect them should they take their relationship to the next level.  Gerry forms a plan.  The story reveals more secrets, which devastate their illusions of which relationships are real and what are not; spotlighting America's obsession with celebrity and its sometimes tragic effects. Performed with a live rock band onstage.
